Sliters is a great hometown hardware store, with service that you don't get from the box stores.
Local store for any supplies. Family has been running Sliters for decades and anything you would think to find here is here. Went in for copper wire and bamboo shafts and found both, alongside a wide variety of candy to snack on. They have all sorts of power tools and anything you might need for a job/contract.
Lisa is the best! I always hit here first before going into Kalispell, I usually find what I need and there is always someone to help me.
This is the greatest place I have been to in a VERY long time!!! I have been here several times and have had the greatest experience. I came in on Tuesday the 28th of March for a couple of gallons of paint and like always was greeted with can I help you! And this time I did need help, the young lady was amazing. In fact all the people in your wonderful store are friendly and kind. I wanted to tell you thank you for such a wonderful staff.

I was told that this business has the best customer service in the valley, and Jeremiah (doors/cabinets/decking) did NOT disappoint. Jeremiah is what you think of when you think of someone who is an exemplary employee and delivers outstanding customer support. Jeremiah came to our home and took measurements, sent the quote when he said he would, followed up when he said he would and made sure I picked the right door (color, material, hinges, hardware), for our home. You CANNOT find this type of service anywhere else in the Valley. If you are building a home or remodeling a home and want quality products with a five star experience, this is the only place to go. Best little home improvement/hardware/building supply store in the valley. I rarely ever have to travel in to Kalispell for anything related to the above mentioned because they carry so much. I’ve been shopping there for over a year with at least 50 trips into the store, and I still don’t under stand how they are able to carry everything needed to build a home from the ground up, to garden supplies to fence posts, all under one roof. To top it all off, the staff is the best, from the counter crew, yard crew or anyone in between - I always get asked if I’m finding everything I’m looking for and everyone is friendly. I go here for all my hardware and lumber needs. Great people. Even if they don't have something in stock they'll help you find it elsewhere.
This place has been great in helping me out with my construction project. And all the prices have been better than the big box stores in the area.

I have been a Sliters customer for almost 20 years and always, ALWAYS receive stellar service. My most recent experience with Jeremiah K is an example. I ordered a very custom front door (lots of measurements). He walked me through all, the door was ordered, arrived ahead of schedule and is perfect. Follow up communication via email (my favorite!) was excellent. Thanks Jeremiah and all Sliters' team!!
***Edited after owner reply ... I meant to add something else. Several weeks ago I purchased a new mailbox post. I asked (sorry ... phone and I did not get the name) if there was a recommendation for someone to install. The person went to look at the door ads and gave me name and number "Handy Bears Handyman Family". Kudos to Sliter person taking time to get the number and Handy Bears installed the new mailbox, and the above new door as well. Super, super service all around.
